The streak of strong Bison defensive performances ended on Saturday at North Alabama. The Lions still didn't shoot 50% from the field, but they only had 7 turnovers, and they made 22 free throws en route to a 98-92 win over Harding.

The Bisons' win streak is now up to eight games after an impressive weekend sweep of the usual Alabama suspects, Alabama-Huntsville and North Alabama. The latter was ranked #15, and UAH has never been an easy victory.

Harding played without starting point guard Steven Barnett in last night's 99-84 loss at North Alabama. Barnett is attending his grandfather's funeral, and he will be unavailable for tomorrow's game as well. I'd like to pass along my best wishes as well, and I'm sure the team missed ...

The Bisons edged North Alabama tonight, powered by another great effort from Matt Hall and some scoring support from the guard tandem of Trent Morgan and Steven Barnett.
